 How to File for a Transport Permit for Your Pet



1. Update Vaccines

  • First Step: Make sure your pet’s vaccines are up to date. If they’re not, you can get them updated when you file for the health certificate.

2. Obtain a Health Certificate

  • Duration: Less than 5 minutes
  • Cost: ₱200

Visit your pet’s veterinarian at least 4 days before your departure to obtain a health certificate. It’s a good idea to book your appointment in advance and inform your vet about your travel plans with your pet.

3. Apply for the Transport Permit Online

  • Duration: 1-2 days for approval
  • Cost: FREE

Steps After Getting the Health Certificate:

  1. Create an Account:

  2. Follow the Steps:

    • Use the tutorial PDF provided on the website to guide you through the application process.
  3. Upload the Required Documents:

    • Health Certificate: Upload as "Health Certificate." Ensure it includes your veterinarian’s name, license number, and a clear photo of the certificate.
    • Vaccination Card (Pet Details): Upload a photo showing your pet’s name, birthday, and other details as "Vaccination Record."
    • Vaccination Card (Updated Vaccines): Upload a photo of your pet’s complete and up-to-date vaccines, also as "Vaccination Record."

4. Wait for Approval:

  • Keep an eye on your email during the process. The BAI may contact you if there are any errors or changes needed in your submission.

5. Print Your Documents:

  • After receiving approval, print two copies of all your documents. You'll need them during your journey.
