🏝️ Our Bali Stay: Three Accommodations Reviewed
During our trip to Bali, we experienced three different accommodations: Diana Suite, Bakung Beach Resort, and Kuta One Party Hotel (also known as Maharani Beach Resort). Here’s our take on each:
🌿 The Diana Suite ★★★★☆

🏠 Design & Comfort:
Diana Suite’s serene design, with white walls and efficient air conditioning, created a relaxing atmosphere. The suite also had a private balcony, adding a touch of luxury. However, there was only one power socket, which required a travel adapter. We suggest bringing an extension wire if you have multiple devices.
🏊♂️ Pool & Wi-Fi:
The pool was inviting but showed signs of algae, so we skipped swimming. On the plus side, the Wi-Fi was excellent, perfect for remote work.

📍 Location:
Situated a bit away from the city center, it’s a 5-minute taxi ride to the food and night market area. Grab taxis were our go-to since it wasn’t within walking distance of the main road.
💭 Final Thoughts:
Diana Suite set high standards with its fantastic room, air conditioning, and reliable Wi-Fi. We missed it when we moved on to our next accommodations.

🏖️ Bakung Beach Resort ★★★☆☆
💸 Affordable Stay:
For just 900 pesos a night, Bakung Beach Resort provided a private room with air conditioning. However, the experience was somewhat lacking. We had no help with our luggage, and towels were delayed during check-in.
🔄 Reality vs. Expectations:
The room didn’t match the online photos. It was plain and felt more like basic sleeping accommodations rather than the luxurious appearance depicted online.
However, we're still grateful to have a bed to sleep on—that's what truly matters.

🌊 The Pros:
The resort’s expansive, clean pool was a highlight, featuring a pool bar and seating. If you can tolerate the room’s shortcomings, the pool is worth it.
🚫 The Cons:
The air conditioning wasn’t great, and there were mosquitoes. The refrigerator was smelly and unclean, and the lighting was poorly positioned.

🎉 Kuta One Party Hotel (Maharani Beach Resort) ★★★★☆
😲 A Surprise at Check-In:
Kuta One Party Hotel and Maharani Beach Resort are the same place, which we found out upon arrival. The lively atmosphere was unexpected, especially after seeing serene room photos on Agoda.

The central location is a major plus, with easy access to the beach, malls, and restaurants. The room was clean, with effective air conditioning. However, there was a noticeable odor from the bidet, and the soundproofing was decent but not perfect.

🎶 The Party Vibe:
Loud music from the Pool/Lounge area was continuous throughout our stay, which might not suit everyone. However, the hotel did adjust the timing based on our feedback, making the stay more enjoyable.
